topic No connection in Broadband

Whats the point in the broadband checker when im having issues with my hub but the checker says everything looks ok. Currently got 1 missing light and a yellow light on my hub, others are green. Ive reset it by unplugging and plugging back in. Holding the reset button for 10 seconds. So it isnt and internal issue. Frustrating how this happens every few months and since its now nearly 11pm there's no one I can contact to help fix the issue.

The service checker doesn't necessarily disclose a problem immediately and there can be an hour plus delay before it picks up a lost connection which is why on here we tend to advise on trying it again later.

The checker looks for issues in your area so might not show anything if it is an issue with your connection.

Try running this line test to see if it finds any faults:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
