Running a quick sped test can show if where you are trying to use your phone is affected. Moving the hub can help especially if it is on the floor. Ideallybthe hub needscto be out in the open on a surface away from other electrical gear.

Recently upgraded to Sky full fibre gigafast with new Sky hub and extender.
speed tests are always good at 900mb, and Sky online diagnostics always show no problem.
when connected via WiFi to the Sky hub, we get video playback on social media frequently pausing and a pool game I play on my phone giving "connection is slow" messages and always dropping out.
however the performance when connected to WiFi on the extender is perfect, none of these issues. It's got to the point that I move to the back room where I'm connected to the extender when I want a reliable connection.
so something odd going on with the sky hub.
very hard to diagnose such a vague problem, but so frustrating.
