Still no luck with this.

Tried the giga fast + hub again. Worked for an hour before failing again.

Old hub/router works perfectly.

I'd caution anyone against upgrading at this stage.

I wonder if someone's had a similar experience?

I have the 1gb sky connection and I got the option to upgrade to the Gigafast+ Hub. I took sky up on the offer but have had no luck with getting the connection.

I've contacted sky 5 times now, and have made no progress. They've sent me 2 gigafast hubs, neither which have worked. The ONT gets an orange light on data whenever I connect it. The old router has a green light.

I've contacted technical support 5 times and I feel like I'm going in circles. The same trouble shooting each time and it just isn't working.

They're just not listening to me, and it's terrible frustrating.

i just want to go back to the old sky hub router and this upgrade process has been a farce.

Has anyone had similar issues?

I feel like an engineer would have to come out and have a look but they're not even offering that.

@CorcaighSky if multiple unitsxare failing there is highly likely to be an issue with the connection rather the hub. Try replacing the cable connecting the hub to the ONT these are simply an Ethernet cable which you can buy literally anywhere and they do fail. The lights on the ONT are diagnostic as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/optical-network-terminal I have never seen one showing an orange light but models vary.

I've tried a few different Ethernet cables. Always an orange light on the ONT data light unfortunately.

Good to know as I was considering upgrading to 900mb as im currently on the 300mb. My Internet went off at 11.20am today and they are trying to tell me theres no issue with the signal to my fibre modem. Then why im I see over 60 people having the same issue on this community chat ???? Typical sky again cannot be truthful to their customers !!!!!! Sick of it.

It's so frustrating. The service isn't working and they're doing nothing to rectify the matter.
Just telling me to restart the router or swap the Ethernet cables around.
They're telling me there's nothing wrong with the line but when I do the self check it says there's something wrong.
I've been left in a limbo with no solution, and I'll be charged for the equipment even though I was told not to send it back for the moment.
