Thank you all. I've purchased an extender and it works 😁

@Mittens2

A booster from Sky is designed to boost your wifi signal inside of your property so while there is nothing stopping you from requesting one from Sky you will get no help from them if it does not boost the signal on your patio.

If you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

I second @2muchTV 's suggestion of using a Mesh network.

A single router at the front of our bungalow did not provide coverage to rooms at the rear, let alone the pation/garden. As it was not feasable to re-position the router more centrally, I purchased Amazon Eero Mesh devices and have full wifi covreage in all rooms, plus outside on the pation/garden and also the front garden (the car connects even when parked up on the road rather than the drive).

This has worked flawlessly for several years, firstly with TalkTalk and for the last year with Sky. The bonus is that when moving suppliers it is made much easier as you can use the same wifi network ssid/name and not have to reconfigure every device that connects to wifi.
