    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, but yes I tried that first and it stated that there were no line problems in my area, that the connection to my house was good, and even that my wi-fi was working.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;The line started working a few hours later so I assume that something was reset somewhere.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Fibre broadband not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The connection to WWW has failed today at my house though&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have a dial tone on my hub connected telephone handsets.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've reset hub and fibre modem and restarted key devices connected to the hub. Hub and modem show the required green lights and&lt;BR /&gt;I can connect to the hub admin portal via WiFi using a browser but there's no connection to WWW - Speedtest by Ookla shows there's no connection. &amp;nbsp;I&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;phoned Sky and chatted to their new AI bot who after a series of questions promised to connect me to a human but then said 'glad it's all working now' and then cut me off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Other than going through the whole charade again can anyone offer a better route to a Sky operative or point me to an independent broadband service checker.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
