I got an email from Sky today acknowleding issues with my broadband. The email said "we're really sorry you've been experiencing issues with your broadband speed." The email stated that "we'd like to offer you the option to upgrade your broadband with no additional upfront charges".

What I know (and that Sky should have known!) is that in my area they can't upgrade my broadband service.

Why acknowledge a problem then offer something you can't deliver. Would it not make sence to offer an alternative?

I guess sorry isn't really sorry.
