Hi all, recently signed up (2/7) and followed all the necessary instructions to set up sky hub max (white rectangular) and puck to my LG tv and LG sound bar. However, when putting tv on using sky remote it doesn't automatically switch on sky tv but normal tv until I press the home button and then it says there's no wifi connection yet the hub, puck and tv are a foot or so apart from each other in the lounge. I've had to switch off hub and puck at the wall and then it works? Is this normal teething issues until it 'settles'. The other issues I'm experiencing are if my iPhone and iPad are idle and go to use either the wifi takes a minute or so to reconnect. Any advice grateful otherwise I may just need an engineer to check everything?

If everything is next to each other than your best bet by a country mile is to get some suitable lengths of ethernet cable and connect at least the puck and the TV both to the hub. If you use anything like Spotify through the soundbar, I'd wire that up as well if possible.

It is possible to be too close to a wifi source as they put out more of a beam than a total globe of signal, leading to deadspots close in.

Ethernet cables (Cat 5 will do) can be bought at local supermarkets such as Asda or Morrisons or a local Currys or Amazon online.

@Sand22 Sky do not send out engineers to help customers connect devices.

The TV switching to the correct input is down yo the way HDMI control works which varies slightly between manufacturers in your case switch the Sky Stream puck out of standby by using the home button should save you a second button push..

Go into the network settings on the puck and changecacsetting so it remains networked in standby. With yout ios devices ensure you have selected autojoin and Autojoin hotspot is set to automatic which works fir me.
