Call Sky by dialling 150 on the landline for a free call.

I have ungraded my WiFi approximately 1 year ago. I was warned the first few months there might be issues with the broadband dropping and WiFi issues. This is still an ongoing issue and I have had an engineer out which made no difference whatsoever. I also have issues with my landline. I know a lot of people these days don't use a landline but I purposely have it in to speak to my grandmother and I have continuous issues with the line crackling and a gargling sound on the line too. It has got to the point where we are actually using our mobile data to run gaming devices etc as the WiFi is so bad. Has anyone had similar issues since upgrading?

@Smithy30022016 "... I was warned the first few months there might be issues with the broadband dropping and WiFi issues..."

🤔 warned by who? Sky?

Are you on a FTTC or FTTP?

I'd suggest you determine whether you are getting consistent broadband to your sky hub using a device connected to your hub via an ethernet cable. If that is OK, then I would be looking to the issue of the WiFi.

I would look at WiFi channel congestion, and change to another channel.

Ultimately, I recommend purchasing your own network/ mesh equipment which will likely be better than anything supplied by Sky or any ISP for that matter.
