Just got Sky Full Fibre Gigafast and my TP-Link extender is only picking it up at 2.4Ghz where as my old Virgin Media had both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

Whilst this is not presenting an issue (at the moment) is this correct, that it is a single frequency router?

@Andy+Hume no all Sky hubs are at least dualband. Adding third party extenders can be a bit tricky as modern router's are designed to run with their own dedicated extenders. If you want to use third party kit it is best connected by erhernet.
