I've had the sky max internet for a few months now but my sons PS5 keeps disconnecting, his phone and my PS5. We have had the booster but still no better if anything it's worse with the booster. Really tempted to change internet

Really tempted to change internet

if the issue is the wifi not reaching your sons room then changing supplier won't be of much help. Especially for a game console or PC you need a stable (preferably) high speed connection with little lag, wifi doesn't usually cut it for this.

Is it a Sky booster and if so are you on the Sky WiFi Max scheme? If so you can contact them and ask for an engineer visit who will perhaps decide that another pod (up to 3 in the household) is needed and show you the best place to position them.

The best solution though is if you can get an ethernet cable between the main hub and your sons room, plug the cable into an unmanaged network switch (around £10 from Amazon) and then have short ethernet leads to the booster (presuming it has an ethernet port) and another to the PS5 will maximise your broadband/wifi.
