topic Sky broadband issue in Broadband

We have just upgraded to sky gigafast broadband with a new sky max hub and a pod. Since upgrading the WiFi is worse than ever. All tests say speeds are good and all lights are on showing no issues. However, devices randomly say no internet connection and start using 5g. Netflix cuts out saying error no connection and is extremely slow to respond, red circle goes round and round showing 25%, 60% etc waiting on progress for watching programmes. When trying to reconnect devices sometimes the network disappears from list and it's not there for us to connect to. This could happen randomly and a number of times within a few hours. It is impossible to try and speak to someone and chat doesn't understand what I'm trying to say! Very frustrated! Can anyone assist.

This could be due to a weak signal so are any of these devices near to your broadband hub ?

They shouldn't have to be near it at all but I'm wondering if you have a poor signal throughout your home/

@Jules122 wrote:

You might need a second and third pod in these other rooms if these devices are struggling to keep connected so you would need to call Sky to arrange this.
