Low speeds

I have had Giga fast fibre now for a couple of weeks, with a promised speed of min 750Mbs to a max of 900Mbs. I understand that you will rarely gain the Max, but to have an avg of 150-170Mbs is not great. Once I measured a download of 750Mbs but no since. If I can not rectify this then why should I pay for Giga fast speeds and not recieve Giga fast speeds.

Are those speeds you're quoting via WiFi, if so then that isn't covered by the 'guarantee' and wouldn't be by any other ISP as there's far too many variables to make that plausible. The guaranteed speeds are to the router itself. If it is to the router or an ethernet connected device try the following to see if they can resolve your problem easily. If not you may need to consider either the Sky WiFi Max add-on package or perhaps purchasing a 3rd party mesh system (which remains yours regardless of ISP used).
