topic Sudden VPN Issues in Broadband

Hi all, really hoping someone can help me!

My current set up is having issues out of the blue since Thursday 4th June. My set up is Full Fibre 150 with Sky Hub 4.2. I also have a plug in TP link to boost the WiFi to my WiFi CCTV cams outside, that's the only thing connected to the TP extension.

I work from home most days and have never had any issues. I was in the office on Tuesday. Loaded company laptop up (Windows 11 HP Elitebook) on Wednesday morning and connecting to my hub I got secured but no internet. Strange, I rebooted the router still nothing. All lights were on, my ONT is fine, but nothing.
Called my IT dept as my WiFi is fine all personal devices working etc. After another router reboot the connection then kicked in but I could not connect to my company VPN (Global Protect) no matter what we tried. The strange thing about this all is that if I connect to WiFi straight through my TP link extension via my laptop it connects within seconds and the VPN connection boots up in seconds.
I am at a bit of a loss as the same thing has now happened to my wife's laptop when she tried to connect to her work VPN this morning... can anyone help? I'm not a great technical person 😂
