If a reboot of the hub doesn't help then was it this line test you ran:

Sorry for the delay. Yes that's correct. I am sure it has something to do with server settings.

I keep forgetting what they are and how to access them but you change settings with batches of four number and they are supposed to give better performance than the standard Microsoft one. I had a similar problem sometime ago with a flight simulator program and I changed the settings, and it seemed like it was ok but now the problem has come back or is similar. Whatever the cause it's very annoying to keep having sites fail to load.

Sorry to be so vague but I have completely forgotten how to access them to see if I can make changes.

@Ivatt1940 the way the system works is you type the address of the site you want but before you can be connected that name has to be converted into a numerical IP address which is the job of the Domain Name Server which holds the records. Sky operate their own DNS but as the internet is so huge those servers have to on occasions ask other DNS systems for less known addresses. You can often speed up the look up process by adding a public DNS to your device's network settings. Google operate a public DNS service which is often faster than Sky's at 8.8.8.8 Cloudflare also offer a service at 1.1.1.1 addinng those addresses to the DNS section of your device's network settings can help.

Of course once the request is sent to the correct address you often have to wait while that server deals with your request. Having the fastest broadband does not reduce these delays.
