6MB wifi speed, tv keeps buffering

Using fast.com to measure our wifi and it's coming in at 6MB. We arr streaming a show on netflix and it keeps buffering. Anyone else having problems?

Sky Broadband supplies over five million properties: at any point in time thousands of customers will be having issues, but that doesn't mean they have a centralised cause.

Typically WiFi speed is down to the hardware involved and the local wireless environment.

@Ronaldo_Devine Fast.com measures speeds in MegaBits per second Mb/s 6 Mb/s is insufficent to stream HD video smoothly. Your issue is likely to be poor WiFi signal in the area your TV is placed. To exclude the remote possibility it is an issue with the Broadband speed to the hub run the Service Checker in the My Sky app as Sky test the speeds daily.

If the broadbsnd speed is as it should be you need to improve the WiFi in your home. Sky can supply WiFi extendersxas part of their WiFi Max bundle.
