How to block inbound IP addresses

I have the standard Sky Broadband Hub and a DVR connection. Each school holiday I have numerous hacking attempts on the DVR. The DVR logs the illegal access attempts. I used to be able to easily block these using "Any/All" on the IP4 Service Name drop down list on the Firewall settings against the perpetrators' IP address. However "Any/All" or "TCP/UDP" has now disapeared from the IP4 Service Name drop down list.

Does anyone know the new Service settings required please?

Thanks for the reply. Its creamy white. The standard broadband hub I believe.

@John3050 the white hubs do have limited facilities for setting up custom rules as you want to do. Basically if the Port Forwarding section of the hubs advanced settings in the My Sky app dont allow it you are stuck. These hubs are heavily locked down and are not suitable for users with specialist requirements you are best advised to consider buying a third party router with the facilities you need and using that.

I do beg your parden Chris. That was my old one. The Router is an SR203 and is black. It did have the facilities to set up the rule. I have done so in the past and those rules are still active.

@John3050 indo not have access to a SR203 to check but if the option is not showing in the relevant section of the web interface the same advice applies. Sky give very limited abuilty to customise any of their hubs.

The SR203 appears to have the generic capability ( see image ). What I don't have are the new necessary Service ( drop down ) settings to replace those that have disappeared .

Solved. Excellent support from SKY on this one. It seems that the ' Any(all) ' Service was removed at a Router firmware update. It needs to be re-added manually on the 'Service' menu. It will then appear on the 'Service Name' drop down list for selection.
