Woke up yesterday morning to no internet. Checked hub, plugs, cables. Turned of and on 4 times over an hour period. Tried reset button numerous times. Tested sockets with other appliances. Plugged hub in a different socket. Finding it impossible to speak a person to report it. Phone system wants a password and wants me to trouble shoot before reporting. I will probably lose the will to bother, it really shouldnt be this difficult.

You will need to report this to Sky so you will need to find a way to talk to them. The password required when calling is a telephone one that will have been setup on your account, if you do not know what this is and can't get passed it then you could try via social media as there are links at the bottom of this page like facebook you could try.

@Ta_ra
You haven’t contacted Sky by posting here. This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers.

Do you mean the telephone password to enable you to pass the security checks and speak to an agent?

Call Sky and when prompted for it say "forgotten it" or similar. Sky should be able to verify your identity as the account holder by other means and then set up a new telephone password with you. You'll then be able to speak to Sky (might be too late tonight though).
