Fitted new hub aĺl ok but mini box will not connect to sky Q although it's ticked all the boxes on screen

@IAN.R.WOOD are you connecting your mini box with the WPS button and pressing the corresponding button on the nearest piece of Sky Q equipment. If thats the router the WPS button is on the thin right hand edge
