Hi, I'm hoping some people on here have come across this problem which is:-

my ev charger needs a stable wi fi connection so that octopus can operate it for charging at cheaper rates throughout the day however the WiFi where the box is going the signal is as dead as a dodo even though it's on the outside of the wall just 3 metres away from the router does anyone have any suggestions on how to extend/ boost the signal to where it needs to be, also do boosters/ extenders actually work.?

thanks

Does this EV charger have an Ethernet port so you can directly connect it to the hub ?

Sky will only send you a pod to boost the signal if you have broadband Max on your account.

And strictly speaking the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't cover external spaces anyway.

To some extent, yes, but they are still regulated wireless devices and cannot be any more powerful than the router WiFi is.

What they actually do is receive and repeat signal as a relay.
