topic Broadband problems in Broadband

Hi have been having issues with my broadband over the last few weeks. I have tried everything sky asked me to do regards the set up,connections,rebooting etc but still not solved. Sky say i am recieving the speeds i should be getting but still issues with wifi dropping and buffering sometimes. I did notice when carrying out Skys problem shootings, when i moved the Router the Wifi dropped. I am wondering if the issue could be a faulty Router as it does feel warm at times? Any help regards this would be great as the best Sky have offered is an Engineer Visit in another 4 weeks,already had the problem for double that. Really feel like cancelling as getting nowhere with Sky.

@zulu9

Cof be an issue with the signal in your property as weak or poor signals in certain rooms is something that comes up on here on a regular basis so try going through this to see if it helps:

https://www.sky.com/help/broadband/my-broadband-speed/improving-wi-fi-signal-to-my-devices/articles/improve-the-wi-fi-signal-to-your-devices

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will supply up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.
