Can’t sign up to sky as address is tied to a previous account

Unable to sign up to sky for broadband as there’s an account already linked to my address. This must be a previous owner/tenant. I have owned the property for about a year & half. Can’t get help through sky as I don’t have an account with sky. Any help would be appreciated, I need to get away from virgin media!

When calling Sky try not saying nothing to see if that then gets you through to someone.

I don't get a chance to speak. It registers the number I'm calling off and says it's not recognised as a number with a sky account
