      <description>&lt;P&gt;With over 5 million customers it is certain that at any one time several thousand connections will be down at any one time &amp;nbsp;for different reasons. Outages sffecting large areas are extremely rare while faults on indivdual lines and faults on a few dozen or hunderss of lines are far more common so run the Service Checker to get your issue checked out.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If there was a major outage there would be literally thousands of posts in this forum.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
