The DIY approach is to obtain your own long RJ11 to RJ11 cable (for FTTC) or ethernet cable (for FTTP)

To actually have the incoming circuit entry point relocated involves paying Sky a fee (which then goes to Openreach)

Hi @Field+n

We too live in a bungalow with the internet coming in at the front (lounge) with kitchen/bedroom at the rear getting a poor wifi signal from a standard router. This was also the case when we were with TalkTalk before moving to Sky last year. I had no way of routing a cable easily to move the router and so I went with my own mesh wifi system by purchasing 3/4 Amazon Eero devices. These were very simple to set up using a phone app and have worked flawlessly for the last 2-3 years, even providing wifi on our rear patio/garden.

I believe that there are a few mesh systems available now, starting at less than £100 but if you take this solution you need to research which mesh will provide you with the best value/solution for your needs.

Good luck, its not as difficult as you might think !
