If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Further to my last post, I've just spoken to Sky and have been told that my area is affected by the exchange closure and I was advised to look at other service providers. I have been with Sky for 16 years and only upgraded 3 months ago so am flabbergasted to be told this out of the blue. Apparently there is nothing they can offer me as an upgrade to restore my broadband. Has anyone else received this news?

@GaleKK while it is true that Openreach are closing local exchanges the vast majority of broadband connections supplied over a copper line connect to a different exchange than the voice line. Not saying Sky are wrong but it is worth checking what Openreach themselves are saying by running this checker Openreach Checker

The output can be hard to understand but if you post a screen shot of the table and the first three lines of the notes undeneath after removing the reference to your address it should be possible to see the options.
