      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp; we had a phone call from sky as my area is changing to digital boardband soon.&amp;nbsp; I agreed to change. Today 2 cables arrived grey one black.&amp;nbsp; Do i need these cables to change to digital when my boadband changes?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Broadband has always been digital.&amp;nbsp; I suspect they mean the switch from analogue to digital voice calls (where the telephone handset or DECT base station plugs into a dedicated socket on the rear of the internet router)&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;This applies to both copper and fibre circuits because the analogue telephone service (PSTN) is due to be discontinued nationally in January 2027.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
