Sky do occasionally move IP4 addresses between their markets and although thry inform the various agencies it can take time for the change to get replicated.

My broadband is giving an incorrect IP location, this means when i play games it says i'm elsewhere, it also means i cannot access Disney+

@Bungleblue thar is unusual as out of the roughly 4 million IP addresses Sky assigns only a tiny proportion are affected. In practice normally the hub should keep,a public IP address once assigned for several months. Some security protection like Apples Privare Cloud Relsy can give odd results. For example I use the Apple system so if I try to log into the Lottery website it says I am out of the UK but Disney+ is ok. VPNs also can give you a false reading.

What does WhatismyIPaddress reporting as your location?

Some geolocation websites will report the registered office address of the ISP itself.

For Sky Broadband that would be Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex (ie West London)
