For the last 5 night my broadband has dropped for about 20 minutes inbte evening. Nothing fixes it except just waiting for it to return. I've reset the router several times. The useless service checker tells me I have no issues but clearly I do. The sequence of lights on the router is from left to right green, off/flashing, green and orange. It is really frustrating and lasts about 20 to 30 minutes

The service checker looks for issues in you area so for this try this line test:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test.

All that does is tell me there is an issue, which I know. It them says 'let's fix it', takes me to a service checker which tells me everything is fine.

Absolute joke, if I can cancel it I am

@Margaretfrostbr if the issue varies around your home it is lijely to be related to the WiFi signal not the broadband connection to the hub. Most likely cause is WiFi interference as your hub and a neighbour's network are using thecsame or adjacent WiFi channel. You can temporarily try to sort this by revooting the hub which should find the least congested channels however the proper solution would be improving the WiFi in your jome by getting an extender like the ones Sky can provide as part of the WiFi Max package.
