For 3 weeks now my WiFi has started intermittently going off. It can say connected excellent connection connected to device can't provide internet. I then switched my router off for about 6 minutes and I'm not getting that message but it still keeps going off as I'm getting a spinning circle on my phone when I try to do something. I've also reset my router holding the button in for about 40 seconds. I then had to reset my video doorbell etc. I've not had this problem in 14 years of being with sky. I might of had a slight problem in 2020 but it soon sorted itself out. It's getting very annoying now.

If the system is also Full Fibre then the lights on the OR/CF ONT also require to be looked at!
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

Sky Hub 4.2

I've rebooted the router online. I've held the button in on the hub as they state, it works for a few hours but the next day it's the same. I've unplugged it and left it for 10 minutes to make sure and again after an hour or so it's the same

29th January this started, it's annoying when I'm paying for something and it keeps dropping off.

I've even had to use mobile data but my signal isn't always good. I'm waiting for an upgrade 9th march but it's getting annoying now

Try running this line test to see if it finds any faults:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

That article doesn't help all it says is I don't have voice on my WiFi but that's because I only have incoming calls. All 3 lights are on I just keep losing the internet connection. Sometimes it says connection excellent but it also says

Connected limited connection

@yvonneuk If you have a bad copper line connection and waiting on a FF Full Fibre upgrade, is the reason for that sky said your LINE is toast there is too many problems on it and you NEED to go Full Fibre as OR Openreach are NOT going to come fix it all out for you?

A line going off/on you would expect to see the sky Hub 2nd light go OUT or change to Orange, voice means nothing unless you line is plugged into the back off that sky Hub! Old connection the phone still plugs into the Master Phone socket, also depending on what type you have that can also cause issues if you have an Internal home fault!

The absolute worst thing to do on a working copper or intermittent bad copper line is continually keep switching the Hub off/on, the electronic DLM manager that is remote to your connection can slam you into the ground and never recover at all!
