Broadband fibre installed a few weeks ago, regular speed checks by broadband speedchecker uk regularly show low 50's, previously had escalated to network team but today buffering and it just have up and didn't download anything . Switched puck and broadband off as I have to do regularly, any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful as I'm fed up with it, sky health check states speed has been 151 every day!!!!!!!! Also sometimes it says there could be an issue with the puck, let's try to fix it option fixes nothing

@Bobby781892 Sky check the speed to the hub which is what the guarantee refers to. If you run an online speed test the result shows the slowest part of the transfer which is very commonly the WiFi speed between the hub and the device. A Stream puck buffering is a typical symptom of poor WiFi signal you can check the state of the connection by going to Settings/network. If you are testing using a proven Ethernet connection ignore thecrest of this post.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes with solid internal walls. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is getting additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
