In practice it is unlikely changing hub would help. Depending on the speed of your connection the issue could well be thst when your partner is on games sites he is using the bandwidth leaving you with whatever left. This quite common if you have a partial fibre connection where yte speed is limited by the length of your phone line. The snserr is to switch to full fibre as and. When it becomes availablr.

Internet is dropping on and off with the TV and computer, on the computer when my other half is gaming it will freeze or drop off. He has added a WiFi extender to the computer but this rarely helps considering I upgraded my WiFi a year ago and should work fine. The tv connection is also quite bad at times to where it will buffer and not connect the internet. Although I upgraded my internet a year ago the box is still the same one I got in may 2022, could I request a new hub with no additional charge due to the increase in my broadband payment, the upgrade for the broadband and that it could be an issue with the hub rather than the broadband itself? Thank you
