Hi can anyone help.

I reciently upgrated to 300gb speed, after about a week it settled down. My PC is hardwired and right next to the skybox/router.

My connected speed back then was a good 200mbps. (about a month ago).

I have just tested my speed today and it has dropped to 90mbps. I did the usual turn off wait and turn back on. Also tried different ports.

I tested my wifi and getting 310mbps also sky help said I was getting 300+

But my PC is only getting 90mbps

The PC unit, cables fbb gear hasnt been moved, jogged or disturbed, and my settings have never been changed.

Does anyone know what the issue may be and/or a solution fix? As far as I can see there is no reason for the drop and sky test reported back that my line is good with no drops and getting what I should be getting.

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunatly they didnt suppy it. I had the original sky package about 5 years ago or so, and just on standard BB the cable supplied and used since yesterday was the standard boxed cable. 4 wires with twin connectors.

When I upgraded to FBB about a month ago, BT installed new cables from pole to my house with external box. SKY only supplied and fitted the main line cable to the new box in house, and the only cable I recieved was the connection cable from that new box to the router unit.
