If you are still on a service using the copper phone line the recent very wet weather can cause the line to drop and reconnect

Whether Sky can get Openreach to do anything is down to the number of droops and how long the issue is running. If your line meets the threshold tge Service Checker in the My Sky app should be able to offer an engineer's appointment. If it doesnt call Sky but they will probably say the same thing. If water is the issue it should improve when the weather improves.
