Been a sky broadband customer for years. Am subscribed to the ultrafast max, have the older style black sr203 router. The router has been in the same spot for years and has always worked flawlessly. The last couple of months my router drops connections, both WiFi and ethernet, might be for 5 mins could be for half an hour, sometimes turning the router off and on fixes it, sometimes it doesn't. It can happen every other day or once a day. Time of day or night makes no difference.

I've tried going through the check your broadband thing on the sky website and that comes back with yeah there's a problem and generic fixes that go nowhere.

What can I do to stop this from happening?

If I have to I will but I'd rather a fix that doesn't require me to spend half the day going round in circles talking them on them phone.
