topic Internet speed well below guaranteed minimum in Broadband

For the second time in 2 months I've noticed a considerable drop in speed to around 8-9 mbps. I have 14 guaranteed. I performed the let's check your Internet yesterday and was told external work needed to be done. Ive received a message saying your Internet has been fixed this morning. It hasn't and checker still says there is a problem. It's now telling me to unplug and create attach cables which the last engineer positioned to give best WiFi etc. Im getting sick to death of paying for a service that's well below bare minimum then being told I need to fix it myself.

Unfortunately you'll have to persist with getting an engineer visit. Realistically a 'guaranteed' 14Mbs is extremely low and indicates a very long copper circuit, so they may choose just to offer early exit from any applicable minimum contract term.
