Alright thank you so much and yes I do think it is the issue with the wifi card, since my old pc worked fine, same with all my other devices, since I installed the max pod.

I will let you know and thank you very much for helping me so fast.

Hello, so I have a sky max pod, which helps me get enough wifi range for my phones and other devices but not for my pc (even if my phone is right next to my pc.)

I've been told to get ethernet, which is impossible for me considering my router is downstairs, and it has some weird cables that can only be downstairs basically.

I assume the issue is with the wifi card on the pc, and since i'd rather not get into....getting into my motherboard and fiddling with random stuff, I just thought I could possibly connect an ethernet cable directly to the sky max pod itself? Or buying powerline adapters and connecting ethernet to the powerline adapter itself? Or disabling the onboard wifi and going for a wifi dongle or wifi adapter? Which would be the best option for me?

I assume I do have enough range in general since my other devices are working fine, it's just my computer which wifi constantly drops and turns off (I have updated drivers, changed power plans, flushed dns etc nothing has worked.)

Thank you very much

@Amin1972 yiu can attach an Ethernet cable from the pod to your PC which might help if the issue is a poor WiFi card. It should simply work as the pod needs no setup.

If thst doesn't worklook into buying a Powerline networking kit which uses the mains wiring to carry the data between adapters you connect to the hub and PC by Ethernet cables that come in the kit.
