I have just installed the ASUs xt9 duo replacing my sky max hub (Full fibre 500)....results are amazing in every room. Thanks to all guidance from here.

the sky app dignostics say there is a VOIP problem, I have set the router to DHCP Option 61 via the web browser interface. I don't have a physical phone to test this and I don't want my sky account as showing a problem (else it may mask genuine problems down the road).

the sky app diagnostics still shows a VOIP error - any idea if VOIP can work with sky with ASUs xt9 (without using the sky hub in situ) ?

Oh great - just when I thought I had a good setup. Thanks for the reply though.

not familiar with double NAT - will have to read up on that.

So could I have the hub connected to ONT and then just one xt9 as access point with no physical connection between sky hub and xt9 ? And would I also have to undo the dhcp 61 option I have set ?

@D-Tox You connect the Asus as is, the wan off the Asus to the Lan on the sky Max, the sky Max wan to the ONT, turn the wireless off on the Max and do everything via the Asus as is, you may have to clear the Option 61 out on the Asus as the max is Authenticating to sky, plug the phone into the back off the Max....

Only problem i ever had was printing on double Nat, and not anything else! If you search XT8 back in july i posted up some screen captures for user's to look at!

Dont AP an Asus router complete waste,,,,, you would have been better spending £20 on a AP!

'Real' VoIP will work just fine: it's Sky Talk Internet Calls which requires a Sky-branded router.
