topic WiFi extending issues in Broadband

My wifi signal cuts across the house. Unless am in the room where the router is my signal is so intermittent and it cuts out when I am working from home.

I bought an extender from Amazon but it doesn't seem to help much. Followed step on the app but it always says wifi seems fine. Don't have sky talk landline to call the 150 number and can't seem to get anywhere when trying to speak to someone. We do have the sky max package that suggests I could receive an extender from sky to help?

@KatieE77 you do have a Sky landline if you plug a phone into the Sky hub calls to Sky are free if you use that. 7However extending WiFi can be complicated and a lot depends on the layout of your home and the type of internal walls you have. Many older homes with solid brick or stone walls do struggle with WiFi and there are practical limits as to what can be achieved but improvements are possible..

The simplest way is to call Sky and buy their WiFi Max bundle they will send out a new hub if you need one and a mstched extendervpod which younplug in no morecthsn halfway between where you need the signal improved and the hub. If thstvwirks great if it doesn't make another call to Sky and they will arrange for one of their engineers to come out eho can agree to up to 2 more pods.
