SR203 Firmware?

Anyone with a SR203 care to post their firmware version please? The info posted here seems unreliable, in that my SR213 has a later firmware that stated on that page.

The downloaded XML file of my router settings (Maintenance ->Backup Settings) shows exactly what the link you posted reads, namely that for Sky Broadband Hub : 7.03.0704.R.
More precisely:

Thanks, but confused. Isn't that showing 7.0.4.0004, same as mine?

I should have said that I'm also interested in the DSL version.

@FLC customers cannot control which firmware version their hub is running. It is not unusual to have 2 or 3 different versions running on the fleet of several million SR203/4 (the SR204 being the G.Fast version) at any one time. Customer services cannot normally arrange for a particular unit to be updated so its not worth asking . The SR213 Sky Max runs totally different code but I assume thst was a typo in your post.

Sky never give release notes or what is in a version but they have said they are working on their diagnostic reporting systems. On the rare occasions of a significant security issue thst needs fixing Sky will mention it to the forum superusers and speed up the roll out.

You assume incorrectly.

The point being made was that as the firmware in my SR213 differs from that posted by Sky, that the SR203 version stated can't be relied upon. That is borne out but my SR203 also having a later version than Sky quote as being the latest.

As for there being no point in asking, no. If there is a later version than I have then it may be worth keeping the SR203 connected for a while, to see it it picks it up. I can then check whether that has cured the issue with the low DSL speeds I have on the SR203, but not on the SR213.

@FLC ok but the same point applies Sky control the firmware version the SR213 runs entirely separate code from the older hubs as it is a development of a unit developed by Sky's parent company Comcast adapted for the UK market.

Low DSL speeds are very unlikely to be sorted by a firmware update. Unfortunately you cannot get detailed statistics from the modem in the SR213. but if you have a SR203 and post that units connection stats forum members should be able to tell you where the issue lies. my router sr203 was allways droping its wifi so much i found if i turn off ip6 lan it helps a lot more stable now

@matrixuk Is there any reason why you have not reported to sky, there have been a few said similar but why turn of iPv6 addressing, it's not the correct way to do it but yes there could be a problem who knows! I had iPv6 on and zero issues at all when the old SR203 was on the connection trust me i would have spotted it straight away!
