@Pindo Why is it disabled on the wireless wifi side, was it you that did it by switching the bands off using your MySky app?

@Pindo another way to re-enable WiFi is to reset the hub by pressing and holding in the wps button on the right had edge of the Max hub for 30 seconds releasing it when the light starts flashing green. This returns the unit to its factory settings with the WiFidetails matching the hub's label.

@Chrisee Was an OP posted up the other day, unit was set on WPA3 and the WPS button was completely NONE functional, never got the reply back yet, can see the reason to not Blue light that mode, but NOT why it would never reset with the full time press for 30+ seconds!

@JimM1 I saw that post but the WPS/reset functionality should not be affected by the WiFi security setting. Indeed resetting the hub will return the SR213 to its default which was WPA3-T but may have changed to WPA2 according to a post I read earlier in the year.

The design of the SR203 and SR213 means the wps button is quite hard to press as it is in a groove. The design decision to include the reset functionality should on the SR213 is not exactly sensible but the saving in not having a separate reset pin msybe pence on each unit but on a million or more units it becomes understandable. The new batches of the SR213 no longer have the USB-C connection which could be used for power again presumably in the name of cost reduction.

@Chrisee Got it, had to use the WPS few times on the SR203 to prime the old SE210, and did it with the neighbours FF upgrade when the old sky Q hub got changed out to re-pare her SE210 to the SR203 replacement, never used the Max so gather it also does possibly not have the orange/green led in the WPS button like the SR does.....

WPA3 true mode should in theory disable the WPS as it is a NONE connection method requirement for security reason's but who knows!

@JimM1 the colour combo on the SR213 is blinking blue wps mode blinking green is reset. WPS was required on the SR203 to link the SE210 extender but also any Q minis. Neither work on the SR213 and so wps is not required a lot of the time. Linking third party gear by wps has always been a bit flaky. My advice is to avoid using WPS with modern devices.

Printers are an exception as you often lack a method to enter a passcode but given the flackiness of wifi printers as a species means failure to network can be down to WPS issues or simply lousy firmware there is no way of knowing. Love networking printers - not.😃
