Blocking Social Media

Can I block social media apps like they are doing in Australia for my kids who are using Sky Broadband Shield.

I don't want them to have access to apps.

I can block the webistes, but also I want to block the app itself.

Can you help please?

you may be able to do through the actual app settings on the phone but that will require physical access to the phones

Do you know if there are any other ways to block social media apps. i see it says blocking social networking, but all the apps still work, even if i enable that?

@Q2025 I don't know of any other way I'm afraid

any blocking via broadband shield is for the website versions only the apps run independently from the website version
