Cityfibre Update.

Cityfibre has just emailed me to say their full fibre lines are operational. At the top of their list of partner ISPs is SKY. I'm already a Sky Broadband customer. So upgrading should be easy.

I contacted Sky only to be told they can't offer me FFTP. Yet it seems that my neighbouring non-Sky customers can order it.

My frustration is getting anything other than 'we can't offer you FFTP to your property'.

Luckily, as I'm out of contract,t I will probably jump ship and go with a different ISP.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to talk to anyone at Sky who could resolve this, as most agents just read from a script.

The thing is Sky apparently can offer my neighbours FTTP. So I think it's some sort of admin issue.

Interesting. Currently I'm on the Openreach FTTC network.

Perhaps when or Iif I speak to the retention people things might change. But by then I will be signing up with a different ISP. So it may be too late.
