Hi folks, i was having a few issues with buffering & looping just now and again. I decided to get an ethernet cable, the cable i got was probably too good for what I needed but it should work. Its with my firestick so I got the Amazon firestick adapter. When I connect all up the Internet doesn't work im getting nothing. Checked all connections. In firestick setting it asked me to configure ethernet connection which I did by entering i p address etc. It told me it was connected but said update configuration??? Its a really good quality ethernet & brand new adapter. Any ideas what my problem is.

<video-js data-video-id="6386328226112" data-account="6057994470001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

@Stevie_68 At a guess the weight of the ethernet adapter on the Firestick is causing the HDMI plug not to make contact which is why the TV is not showing even an error screen from the Firestick when you select that input. Either support the ethernet cable and adapter or buy an HDMI extender cable. HDMI plugs and sockets are delicate and are not designed for hard usage or.to support the weight youhave.
