Hi Jim,

Yeah, the results point to a wifi issue. With wired, no issues. What i am asking about is why is the range so short that 6-8 feet with clear line of sight almost loses wifi completely.

We have had sky 300Mb Broadband for 3 months and we have a problem where the connection just drops on any device more than about 8 feet from the Broadband Hub. Teams calls and working from home is impossible. We have rebooted the device, changed channel, changed to the older slower more robust Wifi connectivity but with no luck. Is the Sky Hub really this poor at providing a signal. The device is in an open area, not near any other device / TV / power point.

The issue seems to affect any device

As I sit here I am doing 3 broadband speed tests on my device

First test 22Mb Download 39Mb Upload

Second test 19Mb Download 36Mb Upload

Third test 6Mb Download 42Mb Upload

I've worked in tech for years and can't figure out why my down speed is so terrible and up is ok. There are only two of us in the house and we haven't got lots of tech devices connected and running. Our connection is so intermittent it is becoming unusable.

On multiple occasions Sky have reported problems, but the system always says they are fixed. What do we do now?

Your result's posted are kind off point to a wifi issue! 2nd link gives you the idea, on a FF500 feed currently!

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/1764674742212892855

Yep, checked all those things. There is one device only attached when i am doing this. We have 30 metres between us and any other routers so no interference. It's just weird
