CSP installation

I have just signed up to get full fibre broadband with Sky and have then been told an openreach engineer will come out and install a box to my home. Does a wire then have to run from this box through my house? Also how does this box then connect to the full fibre externally? Sorry if these are atupid questions. Just wondering where is best to fit the box and what will happen. The video they sent didn't help.

The Fibre cable will either come from a pole near your home, or underground ducting depending on whats currently deployed on your street.

The CSP will attach to your wall low down near where the cable comes into your property. So if its coming from a pole it will attach to a fascia or wall, then run down to low level and the CSP box will attach to the wall. If the cable is coming from an underground duct, the CSP will be attached low down on the wall where the ducting comes out.

Once the CSP is installed the cable will be run to an appropriate point on your wall where a hole can be drilled and the cable pulled through, then inside an ONT will be installed on the wall and the cable will terminate here.
