topic 2.4Ghz Baby Monitor in Broadband

With our arrival due in the new year, we are looking for a wifi baby monitor. They all require a 2.4ghz connection. With our max hub it isnt possible to split the networks, as it has rendered our bg home smart sockets defunct.

Any suggestions for either a baby monitor that doesn't need 2.4 or how we can establish this connection?

@Lou183 most modern drvices can be connected directly to a dualband wifi signal even though thry only use the 2.4GHz band in practice. Where thry wont connect the procedure is to temporarily turn off the 5GHz bsnd signal, connect the device and tutn the 5GHz band back on and the device should stay networked. Splitting bands means newer standards like WiFi6 no longer work as designed.

For the Sky Max hub the setting is the hub's advanced setting tab in the My Sky app.
