Loads of similar posts. Seems the app says its fine but people's experience isn't what the app says.

Yep. If the app is saying it's fine and lots of people are having issues it's obviously a wider sky thing. Does that mean it's just likely to get sorted at some point and there's not actually anything wrong with my equipment and we don't need to do anything?

It would be nice if sky actually addressed this issue as no answer and now my box is flashing yellow unable to operate my heating etc because of it .

Loss of connection after midnight is probably down to essential maintenance rather than a sudden fault. If it is the servicecshould be restored by now.
