The Hub you have now is the replacement for your older one, they are very much like for like in operation!

We had an engineer come and upgrade our broadband and he put a new router in.

since then the WiFi keeps dropping out .

today is the second time it's happened and we have to hold the wps button to connect it again.

obviously there is something wrong for this to keep happening

Hi

my concern is it's the second time this has happened in a couple of weeks after installing the new upgrade to broadband and router.

Both times I have turned everything off and back on then pressed the wps button on side of the router and it connects the tv back on the internet but surely this shouldn't happen as it never happened before the upgrade

Hi

im really sorry I can't give any technical info as we are both elderly and don't really understand. What I can say is that Sky contract me and wanted to improve the speed of my broadband. A telecom engineer came and put a box outside

and next came a Sky engineer who changed the hub to a larger black one .
Hope that makes sense .

Link below if you click on it shows the hub types!

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/set-up-hub-which-sky-hub-do-you-have
