Hello,

I am having problems with my internet connection in Ireland. It keeps disconnecting, for only a few seconds, but making some of my services to break. I notice this in two different laptops, and in an Echo show playing spotify.

This are my statistics:

 And logs from today:
<LI-SPOILER>
00:04:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
00:34:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
01:04:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
01:34:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
01:42:13 syslog: Send out NTP request to ntp0.esat.net
01:42:13 syslog: Received NTP Sync Reply from ntp0.esat.net
01:42:13 syslog: System time is up to date
02:04:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
02:34:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
03:04:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
03:34:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
04:04:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
04:09:14 syslog: Send out NTP request to ntp0.esat.net
04:09:14 syslog: Received NTP Sync Reply from ntp0.esat.net
04:09:14 syslog: System time is up to date
04:24:29 syslog: TR69: Connect to Production ACS
04:24:29 syslog: TR69: Connection to ACS Complete
04:24:40 syslog: TR69: Close ACS Connection
04:34:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
05:04:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
05:34:04 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
06:04:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
06:19:49 syslog: Send out NTP request to ntp0.esat.net
06:19:50 syslog: Received NTP Sync Reply from ntp0.esat.net
06:19:50 syslog: System time is up to date
06:34:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
07:04:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
07:34:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
08:04:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
08:27:23 syslog: Send out NTP request to ntp0.esat.net
08:27:23 syslog: Received NTP Sync Reply from ntp0.esat.net
08:27:23 syslog: System time is up to date
08:34:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
09:04:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
09:34:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
10:04:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
10:33:08 syslog: Send out NTP request to ntp0.esat.net
10:33:08 syslog: Received NTP Sync Reply from ntp0.esat.net
10:33:08 syslog: System time is up to date
10:34:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
11:04:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
11:34:05 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
12:04:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
12:34:06 syslog: WAN IPV6 UP
</LI-SPOILER>

I work remotely and I need a good connection, so this is highly annoying and is making me consider to change provider, so any help is welcome.

@marmg the stas you posted shows that the WAN connection has been connected for 110hours so you issue does not linked to your broadband connection as such. The system does renew iP leases regularly but that should be a background activity and not cause anything a user should notice.

Are you using a corporate VPN or similar? If so and the device is connected by WiFi interference could be the cause. Interference can have multiple sources and is one of the reasons why ethernet connections are recommended.

Thank you for your answer.

In one of the laptops I have a corporate VPN, yes. But I notice the problems in other devices as well. All of them connected by Wifi, as the technician put the router in the hall. I asked him to put it in the living room but he refused.

Is it possible to have a static IP to avoid problems?
