Poor internet connection when gaming

Just (a few days ago) upgraded from Vodafone (100 Mbps) to Sky (300 Mbps) and since then the connection when gaming has been terrible. Rubber banding when playing, poor connection status reported in game, and disconnections. This never happened with Vodafone. The devices (PS5) are pretty close to the router and report as "good" on the MySky app. Router has been rebooted several times.

I have to agree with Nasher1976 with the drop in boradband quality since moving from Plusnet to Sky on supposedly faster speeds but poor with packet loss and latency drops. Certainly regretting the move as it has impacted heavily on gaming connectivity. Also checking speeds with external speed checks doesn't match the reported speeds the Sky broadbnand speed checker states. PC is hardlined into router and router has been rebooted more times than Spiderman, but still poacket loss and rubber banding issues. Hoepfully someone useful and knowledgeable will assist on this well supported forum.

I've actually resorted to using ethernet over power now.
