changing SSID on new white Sky max hub router

Just had new router from Sky.

I cant seem to find the menu where I can change the SSID.

I have found the page where I can change the wifi password and would have expected to be ablke to change SSID there as well. But its all greyed out.

I believe I have clicked everywhere but can find a menu that allows me to change the SSID (and it is for both 2.4 and 5ghx options)

That should be CANT find a menue to change the SSID

@AndyM1234 the Sky Max hub's settings are in the My Sky app under product options the SSID etc can be changed by clicking on the pencil icon. You cannot searate the two WiFi bands on this unit.

If there is no entry for the hub sign out and exit the app and then reload it. If still stuck you will have to call Sky to get it added.

Doh, apparently you cant do it simply and sensibly through a PC interface, you have to use the My Sky app.

well done Sky in making simple things non obvious.

I have just switched to a Max hub and managed to change and set all the WiFi details via the web page. I did this BEFORE I connected it to the internet via a network link direct to my PC. Once I connected it to the ONT, I can only change via the Sky App but it retained all my settings.

It may be worth trying this once you receive the hub abd before your activation date.

just got sky installed today... then realised I couldn't separate the networks via the **bleep** app. Found your post. reset the router, updated the settings, plugged in the internet and it's working!! 2.4 and 5 on different SSIDs.

@Domone As soon as it FW updates then you may lose it all again back to single ssid! Just be prepared for it.
